Fairy trees bring magic to children in the local area – during the lockdown, children made pilgrimages to this spots to play, reflect and to have fun. Six fairy trees have appeared in the local area over since Covid. Located at Ravensdale Drive, St Martins Drive/Bangor Road, Clogher Road, Cashel Road Clonmacnoise Green and O’ Dwyer Road, these fairy trees brought some brightness to the darkness that was the lockdown. The fairies come every few nights to keep an eye on the trees and to ensure the trees are being looked after by the local kids.
