On Saturday 10th April, a large group of volunteers helped plant thirty-five trees on the grounds of Rosary College, Crumlin.
Among the volunteers were teachers and students who attend the school. The trees will help create a biodiversity corridor through the school grounds which is important for the wildlife in Crumlin. The native species of trees planted included birch and alder. We were also treated to poetry and singing by the excellent Sean Machingure during a break from the tree planting. Well done to all who came out.
